Romeo is named for obvious reasons -- aside from being exceptionally affectionate,
he loves to have his chin scratched and his nose kissed and, of course, wants lots of lap time -- he even follows us around the house telling us about it. Romeo is a talker and a lover. He just looks at you with those trusting eyes and it makes your heart melt.
Romeo was abandoned on our street. Life before we took him in must not have been pleasant. It appears that he may have been hit and/or kicked as he cringes and winces if you move your arms or hands too fast around him, or if you try to rub him with your foot. Romeo goes on the offensive with other cats which, because of our other cats, is why we haven't been able to keep him in the house.
Romeo likes to play with the little rubber balls and feather toys on sticks. He loves his food, dry and canned. He's has been set up with a play room, heat, bed, boxes
and everything... except us, but he really longs for human contact all the time, not just in spurts.
Romeo is vaccinated, neutered, FIV & FeLV negative. He's had a complete physical done on him and has been declared totally healthy by our vet. He has great litter box habits, knows his name and the word "no" (he is easily trained with a water bottle). Romeo weighs about 15 pounds and is probably about a year old according to the vet.
